The Essentials of Leadership in Early Childhood Education (ECE) explores leadership competencies both broadly and in the early childhood setting. Leadership essentials include awareness of self, others, and the profession; communication and team-building skills; cultural competence; and ethical conduct. These characteristics are embedded in everything the leader does. This is a 4-hour course worth 0.4 CEUs. This course can be utilized to meet the training requirements to earn or renew your Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
