DetailsThe Essentials of Leadership in Early Childhood Education (ECE) explores leadership competencies both broadly and in the early childhood setting. Leadership essentials include awareness of self, others, and the profession; communication and team-building skills; cultural competence; and ethical conduct. These characteristics are embedded in everything the leader does. This is a 4-hour course worth 0.4 CEUs. This course can be utilized to meet the training requirements to earn or renew your Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Course content is aligned with the CDA Subject Area 6: Commitment to Professionalism.
