This course covers tracking developmental milestones, gives tips on talking about development when there is a concern and when there isn’t, and links to photos and videos of milestones from ages 2 months to 5 years. It also gives participants the chance to practice using a free milestones checklist developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This is a 5-hour course worth 0.5 CEUs. This course can be utilized to meet the training requirements to earn or renew your Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Course content is aligned with the CDA Subject Area 8: Understanding principles of child development and learning.
